This is the first election where I have felt so torn. For the first time, I have considered voting outside of my normal republican party. Only, a small consideration! I like different things about different candidates- yet have little faith in one person, and all they represent. Lately we have had some religous conversations, so I figured political should be next!
If you know who you are voting for please tell me who and why. Also, if you know someone you won't vote for, tell me, and also why. The only thing I know, is that I won't be voting for Hillary. She just drives me nuts. Plus, I would rather have a man in office, it's just as simple as that.

We are looking forward to this election in a few ways. We feel free from "church politics" to make a decision on president. Before we were always taught to vote republican if your Christian. We all know that can't be accurate, since many good God fearing people vote democratically and the such. I would love someone of faith in office. My idea of that could differ from yours. See when I think of Jesus I think of how he made me feel before I gave my life to him. I remember opening the bible and reading this and that. Jesus had such a way of making me feel heard and that my story met something to him. Even before I got saved. That is what I would like to see. A man of faith that can hear people, be sincere and still make good decisions. So as for who I would really vote for. I got some literature on Barrack, Julianne, and MCcaine from the library. A variety of sorts, but so is the journey to come into myself as person. Thanks Kim for stirring the political pot!
Sorry Kim but you know that I am currently a Hillary fan. I think she will repair as much damage that has been done as she can. She and the first husband to be both care for the environment. World leaders respect both of them and they already have the office experience. I wish more women had confidence in women. Look what all of these men have done to our country over the years. Why not give a woman a try to straighten things out.
I know that women do a great job running many things. Families, businesses, etc... but- did you see her cry the other day? I worry about her reacting due to her emotions.
Dena you have a point there. I just don't care for Hillary much. It is true that were Queens have run their country there has been great progress. My sister can prove it! I think a lot of people care for Bill Clinton. Obviously he'd be very much involved. If he's no to busy getting the " hook-up " between office meetings JJ. I know he was well liked, literally. O.k that's enough jokes. I know enough about him to know he was very popular - no pun intended!!

I guess I'd rather a cry then bombing a country out of anger. There is some thing about obama that bugs me. I actually kinda like Mccain depending on who he is running against.
When Bush bombed Iraq, the whole country was behind him. After 911 everyones wanted to fight. We can't leave there without everything in order. Speaking of McCain, I like him a bit too. I think he will keep us the most safe here in the United States. I like Hillary's experience over Obama. He scares me too! The best thing is we are free to vote for who we want. Yeah, for democracy.
What is so scary about Barrack. He appears to be very charismatic to me. I know he's a family man and very smart. From what I read of him he is not nearly as ill prepared for office as some think. I am glad we "Americans" have not been attacked since 9/11. I don't mind giving credit were credit is due. President Bush to me, seems unaproachabe and stubborn. This I must admit is just from seeing him on press interviews. A lot of seemingly good people left his staff recently. Collin Powell and the such, what's up with that.

Those are your words not mine. I never thought that until you and Lannie brought that word, and what it means to my attention. I still don't know if I admit that. I think manipulative fits better for him.
I think we can both think of many words that fit him, although they are not so kind. Someone who does not have a bit of charisma probably wouldn't be able to manipulate so many. The honest truth is that no matter how much research we do, we are casting a vote for someone we don't know much about. Whether or not they are considered successful in the white house is sometimes out of their control. Whenever there is war, atleast 50% of America is going to be unhappy with the President. The wars in the middle east will NEVER, EVER, end whether we are a part of them or not. Hopefully, the next President won't have so much turmoil to deal with.
I hope our presidents have the information they need. I heard a lot about faulty intelligence as of late. Can you imagine going to war, and then a memo comes that says "oops" wrong info. Yes all we can do is make a decision based off what we know. I'm going to caucus tomorrow for Barrack. First time, I'm a "caucus virgin" imagine that. I'm excited to be some what involved this time. I'll get info on the other candidates there to. May-be I'll be swayed, oooh!
I don't like the word "caucus" sounds gross, don't it.
