MY BODY HURTS!

Well, here we go again. Another attempt at living a healthier lifestyle. I bought some new workout videos, and am trying to eat better. The concept from the infomercial, is that in 6 weeks, I will look like the lady in the picture. Other than the dark hair, I kind of doubt it. However, I assume, that if I do these workouts everyday, I will look like a better me atleast! Today, was my 3rd workout, and I am dying. Ya know the sore when it hurts to sit on the toilet. I hate that kind of sore. It's my fault for not working out since last summer. I was kind of on a roll last summer, working out together with Charles. But then, school started, and I left the workouts out of my routine. So here we go again. Wish me luck ladies!

ANOTHER BUSY WEEK!

Mikelle had multi-cultural day at school last week. She decided to dress Hawaiian. I thought it was a good idea, because she looked so stinkin' cute!
Last week my CSN team had our end of the year team bbq. We give out all of the awards, and say our goodbyes for the summer. I usually make something crafty for the players to remember the season by. This year I made little plaques with their number. Maybe you can kind of see them in this picture.

The next day, I went on a field trip with Miah's 4th grade class. We went to a wax museum, at the Venetian Hotel. Here are a few of the pictures we took. When softball ended 2 weeks ago, I thought life was going to slow down a bit. Yeah right! Then it wouldn't be the Anthony house!

BUSY WEEKEND!

On Friday afternoon, I went to Mikelle's classroom for mother's day tea. It was a very sweet time. All of the kids sang some sweet songs, and served us moms with manners! I felt very loved, by my sweet Mikelle, and also very proud.

On Friday eve. Miah and Mikelle had closing ceremonies for their softball teams. Basically, it's when they all get their trophies, and bbq and have fun. It was actually a fun night together for the whole Anthony Family.

Next we left on Saturday morning, and headed for Cerritos, CA. for Madison's softball tournament. The Lil' Rebels won 4 games and lost 1. Madi had a fantastic weekend. She hit the ball extremely well, and also played good defense. She is always leading her team in cheers, and makes me very proud.

When the big sisters are playing on the field, the lil' brothers and sisters play together. They are all thick as thieves. They are practically like brothers and sisters. It's cute. I loved spending mothers day with my family. The only two people missing were my mom, and Nanny. They are so far away in Washington. I missed them both very much. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY! I LOVE YOU BOTH LOTS!

Tom Cruise celebrates 25 years in film!

So just for a minute, let's just forget some of the "weird stuff" about Tom and just think about the many movies he has made over the years. When looking at the list, I have forgotten about some of them. He was on Oprah for the last two days. Now as far as Oprah, man she is definitely out there with all this New Earth stuff, but I am sure if the guest is interesting, or it's a makeover show (my favorite), I might watch it. You don't have to agree, that's just me. So back to TC, that's what his friends call him ya know. Let me list the many movies he has been in. Taps, The Outsiders, Risky Business, All the Right Moves, Legend, Top Gun, The Color Money, Cocktail, Rainman, Born on the 4th of July, Days of Thunder, Far and Away, A Few Good Men, Mission Impossible, Jerry McGuire, Mission Impossible II,strong> and lots of more recent ones, that I haven't seen. I think my most favorite is Top Gun. I mean, c'mon we all loved him in the pilot gear, with the short hair. The beach volleyball scence! I was young, leave me alone. Now, I think oh my gosh, he is so short! So just wondering if everyone has a favorite TC movie?

MAKING MOM PROUD!!!

The medal around Mikelle's neck is from last weekends softball tournament. It was her first official tourney. They played two 1 hour games...But there were actually some teams from Hawaii, and they did a gift exchange just like the older girls do when they play Hawaiian teams. Mikelle was named player of the game by the opposing team in one of the games. She really is fun to watch play. Yesterday her and Miah came to my practice for "take your child to work day", and my college players look at her and remember how fun it was to play the game just because you love it. The little ones always hold lifes lessons in their hands!! The certificate and the bumper sticker she is holding are for her "student of the month" at school award. Not a bad week for our little 6 year old.Miah is holding a certificate for making A-B Honor Roll. She is so good about doing her school work and staying organized and all of those important things. Miah is all jazzed about this weekend because her team is playing in a softball tournament in town. Last season her team took 2nd place in this tournament. She has been working real hard at pitching lately, and has been able to pitch in her first couple of games. She is definitely the fastest pitcher in her age group, she just needs a bit more control. When she is practicing she is pretty accurate, I think she is still a bit nervous since it is all kind of new to her. Charles and Madi and two of her friends left after school today for Fresno, CA. Madi's team is playing in a tournament there. Do we sound a bit busy? Well don't forget that tomorrow is my college teams last regular season games, so it is sophomore day. So I have been arranging the bbq, and the framed pictures and such. One more week or so of craziness and then its the summer off for me! Yeah-----

EYE APPOINTMENT TODAY!

Later today, Madison and I go for our eye exams. I have always had good eye-sight, and just recently have noticed some small changes. My bigger concern is for Madison. She asked to move to the front of the class in reading because she couldn't read the overhead projector, she couldn't read the words going across the tv screen when we were playing the American Idol Game. Then, the other day she asked if she could play the game on my cell phone and I said no because the battery was already on red. She couldn't see the red, and didn't believe me. I will keep y'all posted. Now back to the American Idol Game...It's a lot of fun- You actually sing a song and then Randy, Paula and Simon critique you. I love just belting it out! We play on our WII, but they also have it for other systems. It would make a great Christmas gift for the kids!
