NATIONAL HOLIDAY!
I don't know about the rest of you, but "Day 2" of my period is just not right. I mean, c'mon it's just not right. I NEVER feel like leaving the house, and I really mean that. Between the cramps and the flow, life just isn't working out for me. I was thinking that if I could get enough signatures on this here ballot, I could send it to congress. We could have "Day 2", declared a National Holiday each month. All of those in favor, please leave a comment.

In the mean time, sign me up on that petition. My "Day 2" was on my beach trip last week. Oh, yeah. That was nniiiicccceeeeee. Imagine your Day 2 WITH SAND involved. Not real comfortable.
I always say "If I was bleeding from any other area of my body like that, I'd be in the emergency room!!" I'm with ya Kim, my condolances to you sister.
Try having it while breastfeeding still. Since I stopped and restared now I get both. That used to be one of the other perks to breastfeeding but not this time.
So when this is over are you, me and Laurie getting together for dinner or what???

I think you may be onto some kind of national holiday. This is just a universal truth.. day 2 sucks.
I think everyone else has already said this, but you are SO CORRECT. And since we're getting all personal, not only is Day 2 my worst, but it's also when the obligatory diarrhea makes its presence known. Yeesh...
So yeah...Day 2. A National Holiday...complete with Hallmark cards, good sobfests to watch on Lifetime, and an enormous bag of peanut M&Ms to self-medicate. Rock on!
Day 2 is the day when I'm so pissed that my period started, I want to put on WHITE shorts and just say $*#&#@ it !!
