These are our great friends Matt & Jen. They used to live in Las Vegas, and that is how we met. Years ago, they moved away and we have missed them and their beautiful children ever since. Well...months ago Matt was out riding his dirt bike, jumping and having fun, and he broke both his ankles. He had to have multiples surgeries, live in a wheel chair for a couple months, and go through lots of rehab. He just recently was beginning to run again, and all was good. Until, Fathers Day when he decided to go riding again. You will not believe that he once again broke both his ankles. Only this time, he broke his fibia, and tibia in both legs. Totally different bones this time. He has already had a couple more surgeries! Needless to say, he WON"T be jumping anymore dirtbikes. The doctors said that at 36 years old the impact and force of the landings is just too much. He hasn't crashed, it's just the force of landing . They are in the airforce and are due to move from Nebraska to South Carolina in August. I feel bad that he has to be in the car for 18 hours with 2 casts on. Please pray for his continue recovery, and they he is smart enough to not try for a three-peat! Love ya, buddy!

Will pray - adorable puppy!!
Dag, that's bad luck! Jen must be beside herself with stress and anxiety. Hope all goes well, literally.
Poor guy! I'll keep him and his family in my prayers.
JUST TO SAY I AM REALLY SORRY. YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY :IF YOU FALL OFF THE HORSE YA GOTTA GET BACK ON. GET WELL SOON MATT. GOD BLESS JOAN
ok, that's absolutely crazy! oh jen...I'm so sorry! MATT!!! Oh my goodness...no more riding for you!
Man... I can't imagine how frustrating that must be! He (and his family) will definitely be in my prayers.
Meet Jen. Who is the obviously most patient, loving woman roaming around on this earth. As if caring for a man in a wheelchair ONCE is not enough...
Oh, well, I'm sure there's a big fat crown with her name on it in heaven. But until then, better her than me! :)
Hope you are doing good, friend.

Your comments are all so sweet and thanks so much for all the prayers, that is what's getting me through. God is in this somewhere. Jen and her crazy Mad Matt, who will NOT be riding anymore(dirtbikes that is)
Oh boy...it really is time to hang up that hobby. Hope he's feeling better soon.
I've enjoyed checking out your blog.
