This is me, my mom and sister at last years Girls Get-a-way Weekend! As I was looking at this picture, I was thinking about how weird it will be when I am at the Girls' weekend with all of my grown up girls- It seems as though we still have so much yet to go through, and that it will take forever. Today, against my better judgement, I took them all shopping with me. I will take a minute now, and try and think if I can find anything positive about the experience. Hmmm...??? Hey, I'm back! It's actually the next day, I really can't think of one thing. It's really my fault, because I know better. However, we leave town tomorrow and I really didn't have time to space it out. I remember Shannon and I fighting and stuff quite a bit growing up, so I am able to be encouraged by that, because now she is a great friend to me. My girls are so funny because they can literally argue all day, yet when it's time for bed, they all beg to sleep all together. I think having 3 girls breeds lots of competition. I am going to continue the good fight and just believe God for great things for the future. Don't get me wrong, I love all of them to death, but when you take all of them shopping, a different kind of death is on your mind. Lol!

Friendship

One thing that God has blessed me with my entire life is great frienships. Let me introduce you to one of the greatest friends ever. Her name is Laurie. This is us at the mall around Christmas time. Two of my kids are in there- Miah & Mikelle. The little one is 1 of Laurie's 6 kids. Thats right. I said 6!
Laurie and her husband Lannie have two sets of twins, and they already had a boy and a girl before the 4 new ones arrived. Today, Laurie and I went to the movies. It was great fun. Most of all because she paid!! Lol- I really am so thankful for her. Laurie is so fun to hang out with, but best of all, she's honest, loyal, down-to-earth, encouraging, kind, and her butt is bigger than mine. Okay, I am kidding. Why can't I just be serious? And she puts up with me. She would have said the same thing about mine! So just wanted to remind everyone to take time to build special friendships. They are one of the greatest gifts God gives us.

This is your 12-U Lil' Rebels, aka. State Champs. We are all so excited about coming to the beautiful Northwest for the National Tournament next week. The girls have been practicing hard, the coaches- coaching em' up! And, Lisa and Toni are the 2 best team managers ever. They have thought of everything for the girls. They had purses made for them with goodies inside. Soo cute! They got a stuffed bear, and journals to write in eachothers' every night. What great fun, and memories to be made. All there is left to do is pack. Oh my goodness- thats a rather large task! I better get busy.

Day 2 in blog world!

Okay, so thanks to Shannon, I have the coolest blog page. I did at least come up with the name, but like I could ever have come up with all the graphics. So thanks to my ever so clever, and talented lil' sis. The girls and I are coming to Vancouver on Monday. I have so much to do. Does anyone else, despise laundry? I wish, I could just buy new clothes every week and skip it all together. If you have any good ideas on keeping up with the laundry in a house of 5 let me know. The one load a day, isn't enough- Well, for the last two weeks we have been watching our good friends' son, Tanner. He is 1 year old and adorable. I forgot how tiring it is having little ones around. I like it now that they are old enough for me to escape to my room for an hour. Now, when I come out it's a mess, and someone has a black eye, but hey who ever said the price of freedom was cheap. Just kidding, well not about the mess! Well, have a good day. God Bless

1st Blog- Maybe the last too!

Okay, so my sister, Shannon is doing this blog thing. And I actually find myself reading it everyday to see what she is up to. I am not quite sure it's in my personality to keep up with something like this. I mean, are you suppose to do it every day? Maybe, just once a week? Are there actual rules or anything? I couldn't figure out what to "name" my blog page, because I am not that creative. I came up with "My Real World -Vegas," because with 3 girls, and all our activities, life hits very real some days. I will try to keep you updated. Maybe it can be like therapy for me, and laughs for all of you. So here she is, my first blog!
